I'm so excited!!! The State of Wisconsin has announced it's new Poet Laureate and it's none other than the delightful and talented Marilyn Taylor!!!!!
(Who, if you haven't already guessed, is a friend of mine.)
She's also one of the most talented formalist poets that I know - and I'd say that even if I didn't know her - because it's true and I'm pretty ruthless about the truth when it comes to things poetic.
Congratulations, Marilyn, you rock!!
